Creating Pathways from Youth Incarceration to Higher Education is a statewide conference to increase post-secondary education opportunities in California for young people impacted by the juvenile justice system.

Students from 10 Bay Area middle and high schools will learn about major cybersecurity threats and the methods used to stop them in a one-week day camp at College of San Mateo. The camp is taught by instructors who have strong experience in network security and cybersecurity. Attendees will be able to form a team and compete in local, regional, and national cybersecurity competitions later in the year.

San Mateo, California—On Monday, April 24, 2017, the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) announced that College of San Mateo had won the Presidents for Entrepreneurship Pledge College of Excellence award.

There is still time to register for College of San Mateo’s fall semester which begins on Monday, August 17. The college is offering a comprehensive selection of courses – semester length, online and short courses— in a wide variety of subject areas.

On Tuesday, June 2, 2015, CSM’s Nursing Program celebrates its 50th graduating class with two special events. The festivities begin with an Open House, hosted by the Nursing Program, from 1:30-4:30 pm in CSM’s Health and Wellness Building.

In response to student desire for increased access to and greater success in higher education, the San Mateo County Community College District (SMCCCD) and College of San Mateo (CSM) have created the next generation of online courses, referred to as XLOnline Courses.

Palo Alto University, a private non-profit higher education institution, announced today it is launching its bachelor’s degree completion program at College of San Mateo starting fall 2013.

On Thursday, May 10, from 3-5 pm, the public is invited to attend “Creativity Meets Technology!”, an open house celebrating College of San Mateo’s (CSM) new digital media facilities located on the first floor of College Center Building 10.

Starting in fall 2010, College of San Mateo is proud to offer a dynamic, integrative curriculum in Digital Media that provides hands-on training in four areas of concentration: Broadcast & Electronic Media, Graphic Design, Journalism and Web Design.
