On Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2, 2015, College of San Mateo’s (CSM) Ethnic Studies Department is hosting the 6th Annual Asian Pacific American Film Festival. The two-day festival is open to the public and begins at 6:30 pm on May 1 and continues on May 2 with an afternoon matinee at 1pm followed by the evening program at 7 pm.

On Saturday, May 3, 2014, College of San Mateo’s (CSM) Ethnic Studies Department is hosting the 5th Annual Asian Pacific American Film Festival. The festival will begin with an Afternoon Matinee at 1pm and be followed by an Evening Program at 7 pm. The event also includes a Mid-Week Presentation on Wednesday, May 7.

College of San Mateo’s Ethnic Studies Department is hosting the 4th Annual Asian Pacific American Film Festival on Saturday, May 4,2013 in CSM’s Main Theatre (Building #3). The program begins with an afternoon matinee at 1 pm followed by the evening program at 7 pm.

On November 8th at College of San Mateo, more than sixty students are leading the way for the future of campus activism with 18 inspiring demonstrations as part of the college’s observance of Human Rights Day.

The San Mateo County Community College District is pleased to announce that Minnijean Brown-Trickey, one of the “Little Rock Nine” and a trail blazer of the civil rights movement, will teach “Landmarks of Civil Rights: The U.S. Civil Rights Movement” in Spring 2012.

On March 19-20, College of San Mateo’s Ethnic Studies department will host the second annual CSM Asian Pacific American Film Festival in the Theatre (Building 3).
