California Community College volleyball’s longest win streaks were seriously threatened Wednesday night. State No. 21 ranked College of San Mateo has now won a “modern record” seven consecutive women’s volleyball matches after a straight sets sweep at San Jose City College this week. That surpasses the 6-game streak the Lady Bulldogs had to start their first season back, in 2016.

Grace  Willming had ten kills and 19 digs as College of San Mateo’s streaking women’s volleyball team upped its current win skein to six matches with a straight sets win at Monterey Peninsula College Friday night to open Coast North Conference play.
