On Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2, 2015, College of San Mateo’s (CSM) Ethnic Studies Department is hosting the 6th Annual Asian Pacific American Film Festival. The two-day festival is open to the public and begins at 6:30 pm on May 1 and continues on May 2 with an afternoon matinee at 1pm followed by the evening program at 7 pm.

From January 4-29, artwork by the College of San Mateo’s Fine Arts Club artists will be on display at Twin Pine Art Center in the Manor House, 10 Twin Pines Lane in Belmont.

College of San Mateo proudly showcases the curatorial projects of three Peninsula Museum of Art interns/ former CSM students: Eryn Espiritu, Diana McNutt and Justine Wuebold; on the fourth floor of CSM’s College Center (Building 10).

Through January 31, artwork by College of San Mateo (CSM) students in painting classes on display at Twin Pine Manor House in Belmont.

Starting this fall, CSM students in art classes (painting and drawing) will find new opportunities to participate in professional art practices. CSM’s newly hired Assistant Professor of Art Rebecca Alex has developed partnerships between the college and four important local arts organizations: Peninsula Museum of Art in Burlingame, City Arts of San Mateo, Peninsula Arts Council and Manor House in Belmont.

On Saturday, June 1, 2013, Jazz On The Hill, presented by KCSM 91.1, the Bay Area’s jazz station, returns as College of San Mateo’s signature event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the College Heights campus.

City Arts of San Mateo is partnering with Peninsula Ballet Theatre (PBT) to curate a gallery within the ballet’s regional arts center facility at 1880 S. Grant Street in San Mateo. PBT is celebrating its first anniversary in the space with a gala celebration Friday, July 22.
