Freshman Patrick Ng helped College of San Mateo dominate the men’s “field” at the 2017 Coast Conference Track Championships at Monterey Peninsula College, alone scoring 28 points.

College of San Mateo will play at home as the No. 1 seed throughout the Northern California softball playoffs. The Bulldogs (31-6) will host No. 16 Yuba (19-15) in an opening best 2-of-3 series on Friday and Saturday, May 5-6. First game on Friday will be at 2 p.m. Second game is Saturday at 12 noon, followed by the third game, if needed. Yuba won the Bay Valley Conference championship at 18-0.

San Mateo, California—On Monday, April 24, 2017, the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) announced that College of San Mateo had won the Presidents for Entrepreneurship Pledge College of Excellence award.

Jordan Davis and Gaby Zucchiatti each hit a 2-run home run as College of San Mateo completed Coast North softball play with a 5-inning 8-0 win over host Chabot College on Tuesday.

Top-ranked College of San Mateo won its last regular season home game, 5-0, over City College of San Francisco to hold a commanding 4-game lead over Chabot in the Coast Golden Gate Conference with just Thursday’s finale remaining. CCSF (9-27 overall, 3-16 Golden Gate) will host the Bulldogs at 1 p.m. at Fairmont Park in Pacifica.

Kristen Kowaki lined a single to right centerfield to score Addison Morris from second base and give College of San Mateo a 5-4 walkoff softball victory over visiting Fresno City College Sunday afternoon.

Russo and Vong have strong performances Saturday for CSM. CSM Baseball wins its tenth game in a row. CSM Softball battles at the top of the Coast North Conference. CSM set to host Bob Rush Invitational on April 20th.

Brandon Hernandez and Chris Papapietro each smacked three hits as College of San Mateo extended its baseball winning streak to eight games with a 10-4 win at West Valley on Tuesday. CSM will host the Vikings in another Coast Golden Gate Conference game on Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
