Register Today for College of San Mateo’s Spring Semester 2017; Classes Begin January 17

San Mateo, CA; November 14, 2016—Registration is open for College of San Mateo’s spring semester which begins on Tuesday, January 17. The college is offering a comprehensive selection of courses – semester length, online and short courses— in a wide variety of subject areas. Students can search for classes by viewing Spring 2017 Schedule Classes.

Below is a highlight of new and current courses, services and events for spring 2017:

  • Year One – assists high school students transition to college
  • Film –Screenwriting, Film and New Digital Media, Contemporary World Cinema
  • Digital Media – Digital Advertising
  • Business – Small Business Management, The Entrepreneurial Mindset
  • Computer Science & Information (CIS) – Networks and Digital Communication (online)
  • Science – complete your science lab requirement for transfer online with Physics 101 Lab, Physics 100 and Biology 100; all online. Check out web assisted courses!
  • Learning Communities – Honors Project, MANA (Pacific Islander American student experience), Puente Project (Latino literature), Umoja (African American experience) and more.
