Register Today for College of San Mateo’s Fall Semester; Classes Begin August 17
San Mateo, CA — There is still time to register for College of San Mateo’s fall semester which begins on Wednesday, August 17. The college is offering a comprehensive selection of courses – semester length, online and short courses — in a wide variety of subject areas. Students can find out which classes are still available by viewing Fall 2016 Schedule Classes.
Below is a highlight of new and current courses, services and events for fall 2016:
- Year One – assists high school students transition to college
- Film –New East Asian Cinema; Film Directors; Watching Quality TV
- Computer Science & Information (CIS) – learn 140 R programming and NoSQL databases
- Women’s Volleyball – intercollegiate women’s varsity volleyball
- American Sign Language – a beginning course designed to introduce students to ASL.
- Electrical Power Systems – certificate program leading to careers in electronics
- Music/Art – explore your creative side with day and evening classes
Counseling Short Courses
Choosing a College Major – assists students to research and identify a college major, and become familiar with requirements and course planning.
Transfer Essentials & Planning – essential information for students to successfully transfer to the university of their choice and complete a bachelor’s degree.
