Fourth-ranked College of San Mateo took an early 17-0 lead and held off a late City College of San Francisco challenge for a 30-25 victory over the visiting Rams, ranked seventh in the state, Saturday afternoon.

College of San Mateo closed out non-conference football play with a 42-14 win at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton on Saturday. The Bulldogs, ranked sixth in California, held a 42-0 lead early in the fourth quarter.
