Andrea Chan of College of San Mateo won three of five events to capture the overall championship in the Northern California Women’s Swimming Pentathlon at Ohlone College in Fremont Saturday.

Nikki Uikilifi won three throwing events (shot, discus, and hammer) and placed third in the javelin as her College of San Mateo track and field team opened the 2011 season hosting six other area teams on a damp Thursday afternoon at College Heights Stadium.
