Congresswoman Jackie Speier will deliver the commencement address at College of San Mateo’s 88th graduation ceremony on Friday, May 28 at 6:30 pm in the College’s gymnasium. The Congresswoman’s commencement address is titled, “Thinking without Borders.” Over the years, Congresswoman Speier has been an ardent supporter of CSM, making regular visits to meet with classes and speak at college events. This will be the second time she has served as commencement speaker at CSM.

College of San Mateo won its consecutive Coast Conference championship under coach Doug Williams Saturday, defeating host West Valley College, 13-6, in Saratoga. The Bulldogs and Chabot both finished 20-5 in Coast Golden Gate Division play. But CSM has the tiebreaker, having taken two-of-three games from the Gladiators.
