San Mateo, CA; February 26, 2008—Around noon today in its main quad area, a fight broke out at College of San Mateo between two and three individuals and escalated to involve approximately 20 individuals, according to the initial report from the campus’ Security Department. There were injuries and one person was taken to the hospital. CSM’s Security officers were in the area and responded immediately, the San Mateo Police Department was on the scene within three minutes and order was restored quickly.
